Name: You can give a sequence a descriptive name. If you do not name a sequence it will derive a default name from the time signature of its first bar.
Countdown: If you want a few beats of countdown, before the first bar starts, specify the number of beats. The metronome will play the countdown before starting the first bar. If you want the countdown to be played each time the sequence repeats turn Repeat Countdown on.
Tempo: You can set the sequence to always start at a specific tempo by setting Set Tempo to on, and specifying the tempo.
Variance: You can start an accellerando or ritardando by turning Set Variance on, and adjusting the amount of variance. Negative values will result in a ritardando (tempo slowing down), and positive values will result in an accellerando (tempo speeding up). The adjustment is made after each beat, bar or sequence, depending on the setting specified with the Apply per button.
Continuation: If you want the metronome to stop after playing all bars in the sequence turn Stop at end on. The default value, off, causes the metronome to repeat the sequence endlessly, until you manually stop it by pressing the start/stop button during playback.
