Delete page removes this page and the next one

Hello, there.

I couldn’t find a reference to this problem with a quick forum search. I’m sorry if this is a known problem.

Sometimes, and I can’t tell when, when I delete a page from the “outline view”, PDFClerk Pro removes it and the next page from the “outline view”, although it only deletes the page I wanted to delete. I have to restart PDFClerk Pro to see the correct list of pages in the “outline view”.

I’m thrilled that PDFClerk Pro doesn’t lose data, but I find it breaks my flow considerably to have to restart PDFClerk Pro so frequently.

Please help! I’m happy to do what you need to give you more information about the problem.

just tried the create Outline from table of contents feature of PDFClerk Pro 3.12 following the screencast. But there is no list created in the right panel except for the “Inhaltsverzeichnis”.

I’ve exported a Pages document to pdf and opened that pdf file with PDFClerk Pro to create outlines for it. The settings where made as described in the video and I have removed the chapter item from the list of special items.

Did I miss something?

Saddlestitched booklet with bleed

Hi, I have a 16pp A5 job with 2.5mm bleed around each page edge I’d like to impose as a saddlestitched booklet. I can’t seem to persuade PDFClerk to remove the bleed from the fold edge between the pages.

Another user had the same problem quite early on (http://sintraworks.com/index.php/forums/viewthread/29) and you explained a solution that appeared to work for him. It is not, however, working for me. I wonder if its because settings and menu items have changed functions between now and then? I’m using v3.11.1.

Could I ask that you re-explain how to do this with the current version of PDFClerk?

pages have not the same text width

Hi,

After scaling a pdf from 529 pt to 980 pt (width) there is another observation:

Every other page has a wider body-text than the other (= less margins), is this a bug?
( I did the scaling in the Media Box, cropped all with Shift-Option, then removed the crop box.)

Update Improperly Signed

When I check for updates in PDFCpro, I get an error message that “the update is improperly signed”. So, what do I need to do to fix this error, and what could be the reason for this?

Hi,

After scaling a pdf from 529 pt to 980 pt (width) there is one observation:

Instead of 980 pt the pdf (on Safari) has 1187 pt (or more in margins included.)

Some clarifications

Hi, my name is Paolo and I am Italian.

If I understand well, PDF Nomad is the future software for editing and making pdf’s (no PDFClerck Pro version 4), is it correct?

I test to use Nomad for my normal work and I have some questions:
I can’t change the check box border color or his background color. Is it a Nomad limitation?
In PDFClerck Pro I can drag a pdf in his window and certer it with a click in the metrics inspector, there is a similar future in Nomad?
Is it possible to resize items numerically in Nomad?

Check Box invisible

Hi,
I have tried to make a check box in PDFClerck Pro 3.12
In the view “All annotations” I can see the handles of this check box and I can resize it. But in the “Text” view it is invisible.
If I move my mouse cursor above it, the mouse cursor change, if I click the check box it appears, but when I release the mouse button the check box back invisible.

Any advice?

Why a new application? Why not an update (or upgrade) of PDF Clerk?

Some time ago, I purchased PDF Clerk. Yesterday I discovered to my surprise that a follow-up to PDF Clerk (or so it seems) has been launched: PDF Nomad. About this (at least for me) surprising development, I have some questions.

1. Given the fact that PDF Clerk and PDF Nomad are very, very similar: why exactly this new application? why not an update (or upgrade) of PDF Clerk?

2. Will PDF Clerk still be updated (upgraded) in the future, or will it remain (more or less) as it is now?

3. Wouldn’t it be nice to offer to the present owners of a PDF Clerk license some kind of discount, should they be willing to buy a PDF Nomad license?
