I bought PDFClerk Pro 3.3 yesterday. After entering registration code I still have the SintraWorks watermark (or who ever it belongs to) in the middle of my pdf page. Can someone tell me how to get rid of it. I like the program, but this watermark has got to go.
Thanks,
djpoland
Sorry Tonio, I forgot to answer your question… yes, I received confirmation that the registration was successful.
I opened and edited a new file then exported as pdf, all look great. That must have been the problem, that the file was edited while I was still using the trial version.
Well, the watermark should have disappeared in any PDFClerk Pro file you had started before registering. Of course if you exported to PDF at that time and then re-imported the resulting PDF document into the now registered PDFClerk Pro, then the watermark would remain, since it had become part of the generated PDF document.
Hello Tonio: I downloaded the trial version of PDF ClerkPro 3.4.3 and then later the same day I purchased the registration key. I followed the instructions for activation, but the program still says it is unregistered. It still has the watermarks. I have tried to have the program closed and click on the registration key file. I have also tried starting with the program open and then dragged the registration key into the program. What do you recommend? I am running an iMac with Mac OSX 10.5.5. Thank you for your help in this matter, John
Does it complain that the file is not valid, or does it say it registered successfully, yet you get watermarks when opening PDF documents? I have seen the very rare occasion of a particular PDFClerk document started before registering, where the watermarks would not disappear after registering. If that is the case, I can fix the file if you send it to me. I have never known watermarks to appear when opening a PDF after successful registration though.
If the license file itself is not accepted by PDFClerk check the following:
1. You purchased the a license file for PDFClerk Pro, not for the legacy PDFClerk.
2. The file name extensions is intact: “pdfclerklicense”. If any letters got chopped off, then correct the file name and try again.
Some third party email clients do not save attachments correctly to disk, causing the license file to be rejected by PDFClerk. If the license file is still not accepted let me know and I will send you the file such that it can be saved correctly to disk.
Tonio,
Thanks for responding to my inquiry. It doesn’t complain that the file is not valid. It appears that the license itself is not accepted by PDF Clerk Pro. My receipt says that I purchased PDF Clerk Pro, not legacy. The filename extension is “pdfclerklicense”. Do you think it would be my online email client…Novell Exchange Network. I download directly from there to my hard drive. I do not use an email client located on my hard drive for email handling. Thanks again.
John
What does it say when you check “About PDFClerk Pro”? What happens when you try to register it? If it doesn’t complain it should say that it successfully registered, it should not have no reaction.
Either way I’ll send you the registration file in compressed format, that should solve any compatibility issues with email clients.
Tonio: Thank you so much for your prompt service. Sending the zip file worked. It registered successfully. Thank you, again. Looking forward to using the program now! Sincerely, John.
