I use PDF Clerk to number receipts, and some receipts span multiple pages, so I’d like to be able to label multiple pages without using the mouse.

Please consider this for a future release! If PDF Clerk already does this, I’d appreciating learning the shortcut keys, since I couldn’t find them myself.

Thanks for a very good product.

Do you mean you would like a keyboard shortcut to turn on page labels? There are quite a few parameters involved in setting up page labels, so a single keyboard shortcut wouldn’t do it for most. Can you describe a bit more in detail what you’re envisioning?

No, I mean keyboard shortcuts to set the label text for each page.

Suppose I drag 5 different PDFs with receipts scanned out of sequence into a PDF Clerk document. Now I want to number them, then rearrange them in order by receipt number. I want to be able to do something like start at the top of the list of pages, hit ENTER to edit the label, type “3”, hit ENTER to accept the value, then cursor down to the next page, hit ENTER to edit the label, type “7”, hit ENTER to accept the value, and so on… I hope that gives you a good picture of what I want to do.

Right now, I have to double-click each label to edit it, and since I might edit 20-50 labels in a document, I’d prefer to use only the keyboard to do that.

Thanks!

Ah, I see. Makes sense. I’ll see what can be done.

Just for the record: 3.5 added functionality to this effect and then some.

I know it’s over a year, but I want to thank you for including this behavior. I like very much being able to tab through the fields and enter a label number for each page.
