Free translation: I would like a open a document I worked on [in PDFClerk] in Preview or Acrobat. But it doesn’t work. Why?

The “.pdfc” file format is native to PDFClerk. It is not recognised by other software. When you work in PDFClerk there is much more going on than just a single PDF being adjusted. Hence the need for its own file format, so that you can save your work and reopen it later exactly as you left it.

One of the main purposes of PDFClerk is to produce proper PDF files from the result of your work. For this you use the Export menu. Select one of its options (usually the top choice: Single File). This wil allow you to create a PDF document that can be opened in Preview and Acrobat, or any other PDF reader.
